Become a Certified SOT Practitioner

There are three levels of SOT certification: Basic, Advanced and Craniopath.

The basic exam covers the category system of analysis and treatment, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of extremity problems. Candidates for the basic exam are required to have completed 64 hours of training over a 2 year period and to have been qualified as a chiropractor for at least 1 year.

The advanced exam covers CMRT (Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique) and some specific cranial procedures. Candidates for the advanced exam are required to have passed the basic exam, completed 128 hours of training and to have been qualified as a chiropractor for at least 3 years.

The cranial exam covers all cranial procedures. Candidates are required to have passed the basic and advanced exams, completed 200 hours of training and have been qualified as a chiropractor for at least 5 years.
