Autumn Newsletter

Happy Autumn SOTO Europe family!

As the leaves begin to turn and the temperature starts to drop (well, for some of us anyway!) SOTO Europe is gearing up for another round of seminars.

There have been a few changes for this new series, so I thought I might update you in one handy newsletter.

Chiropractor of the Year
I would first like to congratulate Tracey Martin for receiving the award of Chiropractor of the Year during the Annual February Gala dinner this year.  A much deserved award! Congratulations!

Changes to the Modules
As you may have noticed, the first two modules of the series have been changed and an additional module has been added!  Foundations of SOT 1 is now Introduction to Category 1 and Foundations of SOT 2 is now Introduction to Categories 2 & 3. Categories 2 & 3 were originally taught in the first module so they have effectively been swapped.  As a result of this, if you have previously sat module 1 and are thinking of sitting module 2 in 2018 - you will actually need to take module 1 again.  If you are in this position and not sure what this means for CPD certificates, please contact me directly - my details will be at the end of the newsletter.

TMJ technique used to be part of the Sutural module but it was decided that is was too much information to fit into just one module so TMJ now has its own!  The module will be available for the first time in 2019.

Barcelona
Barcelona seminars are fast approaching with module 1 taking place next weekend and module 2 on 25/26 November.  The cost is slightly cheaper than UK modules as we do not provide lunch.  Also there are special rates for BCC students so if you haven't booked in, please contact me for more details!  The deadline for next weekend's bookings is Wednesday 25 October at 4pm.

2018

New Venue
If you haven't already noticed from the website, the UK courses next year are in a new venue, the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott! Details of the hotel can be found here.  The hotel is serviced by the Heathrow Hoppa bus, so for those of you flying into this airport, getting to the hotel will be more straight forward and cheaper!  For the cash conscious of you, there is also a Travelodge opposite the seminar venue that provides more basic and very affordable accommodation.  These details are also available on the above link.

Speaking of links, the Marriott hotel has provided a couple for you to book your accommodation at the SOTO Europe rate.  So far I have January and February and they are as follows:

January Accommodation - (must be booked by 29/12/17) Please note that parking is FREE for us every month while we are at the seminar.

February Accommodation - (must be booked by 26/01/18)

Please book your courses as early as possible, module 1 limited offer student price has already sold out so make sure you don't miss out on the seminar you want to attend in 2018!

Summer Save the Date
The date for the Summer series has been confirmed!  Final details are still being ironed out, but in the meantime please save the date so you don't miss out!  It will be at the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott on 23/24 June 2018.  The seminar will be up on the website as soon as details are confirmed.

New Place!
As you know we already run seminars in Amsterdam and Barcelona and they are up on the website and ready to book.  In September and October 2018 we will be running modules 1 and 2 in Copenhagen!  More details about the venue and dates will be online in December and we hope this will help more chiropractors and their patients benefit from this technique.

That's all for now, my aim is to inform, not to overwhelm (although I fear I may already have done).  If you have any questions regarding the details here or want to know more about the courses, please do not hesitate to email me on conferences@sotoeurope.org

Look out for a Christmas edition of the newsletter detailing the February Gala Dinner and an exciting giveaway!

Until then, take care and keep doing what you do best!

Kind regards

Teresa Williams and the SOTO Europe Board
